Emma’s Marathon effort to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis
Emma our Digital Bookkeeping Manager is not only busy at Appleleaf maintaining clients’ books and records, out of work she has also been training for a marathon over the summer, which as you can imagine requires a lot of hard work and commitment!
Emma has been training for the Manchester Marathon which takes place on 10 October and will be raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Emma’s son Carson has Cystic Fibrosis which is a life-limiting genetic condition that affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function.
Over 10,000 people across the UK are living with the condition and half of those will not live past the age of 41.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a charity which fights for a brighter future for people with the condition and their families by funding cutting-edge research, improving standards of care and supporting people with Cystic Fibrosis and their loved ones every step of the way.
If you would like to sponsor Emma you can donate via her Just Giving page www.justgiving.com/Emma-Hutchinson19
The whole team from Appleleaf wishes her lots of luck on the day!
